Superintendent must live in Baird ISD and superintendent’s children should attend the Baird Independent School District.

Must be knowledgeable and accountable in all areas of school operations.
Impeccable recommendations from and in-depth background search including background checks from teaching in current position, references and non-references, credit and criminal background check.

Has a pool of other knowledgeable peers. (Ability to find the answer to questions from a pool of peers with mutual respect for each other.)
Experience with small towns and decreasing enrollment.
